Meetups open doors. Programmes change careers.

From 2020 onwards we went beyond events: structured courses, funded scholarships, a fellowship and a startup school. Here's each one, what it did, and what we learned. All applications are long closed; the pages remain as a record and a blueprint.

The thread running through them all

Every programme followed the same logic. Find where the community was stuck, whether that was breaking into tech, moving up, founding something or giving back. Then put people who'd already done it in front of people who wanted to, and keep it affordable or free.

Trainers came from inside the community. Free places were funded for people who couldn't pay. And each cohort got a private space in our Slack so learning happened together, not alone. If you're building a community programme today, steal all of this.
